For the end of season tour EMS Group sponsored the Hertford Town Youth Football Club under 14's for a trip to Rome, where the boys played two even and competitive games against local sides, A.S. Urbetevere Calcio and Olimpia Calcio.

We are pleased to announce that our company has been awarded the ARCA Training Gold Award. This has been awarded in connection with consistently high results achieved by supervisors sitting the refresher courses.(in excess of the HSE benchmark of 80%). This award allows us to use the Gold award logo on our paperwork should we wish to do so. EMS Group was granted a license from the Environmental Agency in April 2007. This enables us to operate a hazardous waste transfer station from our site in Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire. The waste station managers were audited by the environmental agency as to their competency for running a site and we are please to say met all the criteria's expected of them.

Waste from EMS Group sites will be collected by a dedicated in-house team and transferred back to the site for safe storage until ready to be sent to landfill.

The long-term benefits to the environment will be that our vehicle movements, fuel usage and emissions to atmosphere emitted by these movements are reduced.

It is envisaged that we will offer this service along with environmental advice externally to clients who are required to dispose of their waste in a safe manner.
