Asbestos Software"Software should be designed to make a task as easy and efficient as possible whilst still remaining user friendly" The EMS Group utilises custom designed software as part of the services on offer.
Gathering information about asbestos risks is pointless if that information cannot be readily analysed and accessed to manage the situation effectively. Priorities need to be easily identifiable and any risks requiring urgent attention should be very apparent. Utilising the latest software makes this process easy. Data EntryOnce asbestos surveys have been completed the data is entered into the database. Each site is entered as a separate survey under a collective Client group. In this way the software can manage multiple sites in a region or County depending on the Client's own needs. As data for each sample is entered the software automatically carries out a risk assessment and assigns a risk level. The survey is then given an overall risk level according to the results from the samples. Once the data has been entered the surveys can be displayed in a list or, if required, on a map and are coloured according to their risk levels. Clients using this software can choose to receive the completed information in either digital format so that they can browse through the surveys themselves or as fully comprehensible reports. Ease of UseUser friendliness has always been a very high priority and the software users will testify that it doesn't take long before proficiency is gained. If a query does arise then it can nearly always be answered from the full help file provided which can be accessed using a variety of methods and is written in plain English. It is a compliment to the software development team that hardly any queries are received from Clients. The survey itself consists of sections covering the following areas. Other documents and files, such as drawings and certificates, can be included, viewed and printed with each survey.
The sample records contain all the details and history of the sample together with a photograph. |
